Niko Stratis is an award-winning culture writer based in Toronto whose work has appeared in places like Spin, Paste, Bitch, Catapult, and other now-defunct magazines. She writes a newsletter called <a href="https://www.anxietyshark.ca/">Anxiety Shark</a>, and co-hosts a <a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/the-oc-again/id1772578270">podcast about The OC</a>. Her debut collection of essays, <a href="https://utpress.utexas.edu/9781477331484/the-dad-rock-that-made-me-a-woman/">The Dad Rock That Made Me a Woman, is available on May 6 through the American Music Series at the University of Texas Press</a>. She lives in Toronto with her fiancé, their dog and two cats. Niko is a Cancer and a former smoker.
