The Pope Is Weak On Crime

This is not what I voted for

Have you noticed this? Pope Leo is weak on crime

This is disappointing for all of us who believed that his pro-prison platform would make our streets safer. When I’m waiting for someone to come unlock the deodorant in the CVS–a necessity due to the rampant shoplifting, a very real concern I know for a fact the Pope shares–I can’t help but think, “The Pope promised to do something about this.”

Trump attacks the Pope in a Truth Social rant, calling him “weak” and attacking his views on foreign policy, Iran, and even his legitimacy as pontiff—claiming he wouldn’t be Pope if Trump weren’t president.

You know what else? The Pope thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a nuclear weapon, and he thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela. I was expecting a papacy in favor of American nuclear supremacy and US military interventions abroad. Where is the Pope who was so tough on immigration?

And like, I’m sure Leo is very busy, but he can’t even take a moment to praise the Greatest Stock Market in History? Where are all those pro-business priorities I’ve come to expect of a Pope?

All this flip-flopping has led some to suspect that Leo is only in the Vatican because he’s catering to the Radical Left. Did you know he wasn’t even on any list to be Pope? At times it almost feels personal, like the Pope’s whole m.o. is just to stick it to President Trump. This is especially galling given how Leo has followed in the footsteps of his predecessor in his close relationship with JD Vance. Real hot and cold, this guy.

I don’t know about you, but I’m already thinking about the next papal election cycle, which will be here before you know it. The time has come for change, and every one of us can play a role. Make sure you’re registered to vote for Pope, so you can make your priorities heard at the polls.
