# We've Hit 30,000 Members! Thank You! To Celebrate, We're Dropping A Ton Of New Merch

Having launched this website in November 2023 with a single user (Luke's admin account), we're both thrilled and proud to announce that Aftermath just welcomed our *30,000th* member.

Thank you *so much* to everyone for signing up and reading the site; when we started we had no idea whether anyone would ever want to subscribe to a video game website that you had to register and/or pay for, but your love and support so far has been absolutely mind-blowing to us.

To help celebrate the milestone, [we've dropped a ton of new stuff on our merch store](https://aftermath-shop.fourthwall.com/?ref=aftermath.site), featuring new designs, new items and, *finally*, women's cuts of some of our best-selling shirts (all of which were previously only for sale in a boxier, 'unisex' version). Sorry for the wait on those, they only just became available from our supplier!

For the record, that 30,000 number includes[ around 5400 paying subscribers](https://aftermath.site/aftermath-subscriber-goals-2026/), with the rest being free users who are signed up for additional blogs and a couple of newsletters every week. While we hugely appreciate everyone who counts towards that total, paid or not, paying subscribers are the ones allowing us to keep doing the work we're doing, so now might be a good time to remind everyone else that not only is[ upgrading to a paid sub the best way to support the site](https://aftermath.site/aftermath-subscriber-goals-2026/) (it costs as little as $5.80 per month on an annual plan), but our 'Member' tier includes a merch discount if you were looking at getting some of this new stuff from the store and wanted to save a few bucks.
