Aftermath is a site about video games, the internet and what comes after

We're 100% worker-owned and independent, which means you're subscribing to a website without middling corporate ownership, a reliance on access journalism or a fear of speaking truth to those in positions of power.

A subscription to Aftermath supports journalism that's honest and irreverent, written for people rather than SEO. We're a site that prioritizes the reader experience, with a minimal design and no invasive popups that torch your phone.

Through our different paid subscription tiers you’ll have access to articles, archives, comments, newsletters, merch discounts, private RSS, a Discord server and more. You can also subscribe to our 'Free' membership, which gets you two newsletters per week and a few extra stories every month before hitting the paywall.

You can also follow (and support us) by buying our merch, and by listening to our podcasts.
