This week on Aftermath Hours, Chris, Gita and Luke get together to talk about Chris's mammoth review for the Steam Machine. Then, we pose the question: Is Grand Theft Auto VI going to be the last big video game?

The Steam Machine is $1,049 USD, but unfortunately that's kind of just what computers cost now. Chris does make it sound like a really cool little PC, but in this economy?

This conversation leads into the looming release of Grand Theft Auto VI, which hangs over us all like the sword of Damocles. Can the industry support another huge video game release after this game comes out? And why does none of it strike a chord with Luke, who is ostensibly a GTA guy?

Then we hit the mailbag for a surprisingly robust discussion of the merits of the Ghost CMS, among other things.

You can find this week's episode below and on Spotify, Apple, or wherever else you prefer to listen to podcasts. If you like what you hear, leave a review!

The Steam Machine Is An Iconoclastic Computer Born In Unforgiving Times
Valve has released a tiny, silent, entry level PC that does important work bringing PCs gaming to the living room and desktop Linux to the masses. The timing could not be worse.
